Princess Catherine carried out a St. Patrick's Day tradition.
She handed out Shamrocks to members of the Irish guards regiment of the British Army, in the city of Aldershot, near London.
She was accompanied by Prince William, who is an honorary colonel of the guards.
The tradition dates back to 1901.
Every year, fresh Shamrocks are given to the guards by the royal family - no matter where in the world they are stationed.
