UPDATE: The Monitor Merrimac is now back open after crews made a pothole repair in the right lane.
Suffolk, Va. – According to VDOT, a pothole was blocking the right lane of the Monitor Merrimac NB.
The right lane was blocked for emergency repairs.
This was on the Suffolk side of the tunnel.
