Currituck County, N.C. – A boil water advisory is now in effect for the Currituck Club Development, in Corolla, NC. Potable water service was interrupted after a water line break on Wednesday.
Customers in the area of the Southern Outer Banks System are impacted by this advisory.
Boiling water for one minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be in the water officials say.
Crews will be collecting samples to check the quality of the water.
They expect the boil water advisory to be lifted by Thursday at 3 p.m.
