Duck, NC - Mother Nature uncovered a piece of history right in front of our eyes!

James Griffin was visiting the Outer Banks from New Jersey and little did he know that while on his trip, he would have a chance to see and even touch a portion of a ship that wrecked along the coast back in the 1920s.

“It's amazing what she does reveal to you, you know, of the ship wrecks or stuff or how powerful she is. No matter how strong you think you built something, it will take it away,” says Griffin.

The bow of this ship used to be intact, but recent coastal storms have been so strong that a piece broke off and washed down the beach about 200 yards.
