Hampton, Va. – Students graduating from Hampton University this May will get a special treat. U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Regina M. Benjamin will be this year’s commencement speaker.
The ceremony will be held at Armstrong Stadium at 10 a.m. on May 12th.
Benjamin will receive the honorary Doctor of Science degree in recognition of her outstanding work in medicine and health care.
