Norfolk, Va. - A woman is now recovering after being pulled from the water in the 7000 block of Hampton Boulevard, near Norfolk Yacht Club.
It happened around 8 a.m. Thursday morning. A caller notified emergency officials that a body was found in the water near Norfolk Yacht Club. Police say the woman, who is estimated to be in her 20s, was safely pulled out of the water by emergency responders.
The woman had lacerations on her body, police say, and she was transported to the hospital.
