Isle of Wight, Va. – On Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, VDOT crews will perform paving operations on Route 17 that will affect travel lanes from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Crews will work on the northbound lanes of Route 17 between the Crittenden Bridge and Ashby Road with alternating left and right lane closures.
These activities are weather dependent.
This work is part of the Route 17 repaving project, slated for completion in June 2013.
While driving through the work zone, motorists should stay alert for additional traffic congestion, traffic shifts and flagging crews. Variable message signs will be utilized to help inform motorists of impacted areas. Motorists are encouraged to drive cautiously.
