Isle of Wight – VDOT has scheduled repairs to the bridge on Harvest Drive (Route 641) between Old Myrtle Road (Route 632) and Glen Haven Drive (Route 653) from 8 a.m. to 3 a.m. on April 22 – April 23.
Several deck boards will be replaced.
During these two days, motorists will have use of the following detours:
Heading North:
• Turn right on Glen Haven Drive (Route 653)
• Turn left on Elwood Road/See Gar Drive (Route 613)
• Turn left on Business Route 58
• Turn left on Old Carrsville Road (Route 1701)
• Turn Left on Old Myrtle Road (Route 632)
• End Detour at Harvest Drive (Route 641)
Heading South:
• Turn left on Old Myrtle Road (Route 632)
• Turn right on Old Carrsville Road (Route 1701)
• Straight on Business Route 58
• Turn right on Elwood Road/See Gar Drive (Route 613)
• Turn right on Glen Haven Drive (Route 653)
• End Detour at Harvest Drive (Route 641)
Truck Detour:
Please note: A structure on Elwood Road/See Gar Drive (Route 613) has a 6-ton weight limit so all truck traffic must use Business Route 58.
• NORTHBOUND: Take Glen Haven Drive (Route 653) and turn left at Route 58
• SOUTHBOUND: Route 58 and right at Glen Haven Drive (Route 653)
