Virginia Beach, Va. – A 19-year-old man, Terrell Antonio Pugh, has been sentenced to 33 years with 17 years suspended in connection to a murder at a recording studio in Virginia Beach last year.
Pugh, who was once a Norfolk resident, pleaded guilty to felony second degree murder, conspiracy to distribute marijuana, and use of a firearm.
Officials say last year, Pugh and two other men went to a recording studio in Pembroke Lakes to purchase marijuana. The studio’s owner and the drug dealer then got into an argument about the quality of the marijuana with the men officials say. The dealer and Pugh pulled out weapons and the dealer was killed.
The other suspect, Dwayne Riley, is scheduled to be sentenced on June 4, 2013.
