Virginia Beach, Va. – Firefighters are currently working to repair a gas leak in the 5500 block of Indian River Road, according to Amy Valdez of Virginia Beach Fire and Rescue.
Officials say the leak is located behind a building in that area. Crews are currently waiting on Virginia Natural Gas to assist.
Crews say it’s a small line that has been affected.
No evacuations at this time.
The cause of the leak is construction surrounding the area, officials say. No road closures to report at this time.
