Update: Latoya Garnett, charged with stabbing and killing her brother, has retained an attorney. She will have a bond hearing on Wednesday. She remains in custody.
News, Va. - A woman accused of killing her brother is scheduled to appear before a judge on Monday.
Right now, Latoya Garnett remains locked up, without bond.
According to court documents - a fight over marijuana is what led to Garnett fatally stabbing her brother, Bryan.
The stabbing happened in April, in Garnett's home on 21st Street.
Her arraignment was moved to Monday morning.
In court - her parents told a judge they'd hire an attorney for her.
Her father is saying, "We've already lost one child, we don't want to lose another."
