Dublin, Va. – A child died after investigators say a bookshelf fell on him at his daycare.
It happened yesterday at the daycare center in Dublin near Blacksburg.
Investigators say the force of the fall broke the boy’s neck.
Right now, they have not said if the boy pulled or pushed on the shelf.
The daycare shutdown for the day, but they plan to re-open tomorrow.
And looking into the background of that center back in January 2012, inspectors cited it for having too many infants and not enough daycare personnel to watch them all.
