Norfolk, Va.- Several units were damaged after an apartment caught fire on San Antonio Blvd. in Norfolk on Friday. A neighbor told police she heard someone breaking in. She allegedly yelled at the person and they took off. The fire was started shortly afterward.
This occurred in the Wards Corner area of the city.
The fire was inside of a downstairs apartment and crews say no one was there at the time. The unit sustained moderate damage and other units were damaged by smoke.
One person sustained minor injuries after tripping over a hose.
This is located off of Little Creek in Wards Corner.
