Rare May snowfall reported in Britain

It may be May but the weather in Britain is confusing many.

Snow fell across parts of England last night, blanketing parts of the country in up to 3 inches.

In other areas, over a month’s worth of rain fell in just 24 hours and winds up to 65 mph battered the coastlines.

The Daily Mail says snow in May is rare but not unheard of. There were four consecutive days of snow in May 1979.
