Doctors: Sitting is the new smoking

Many doctors are now saying sitting is the new smoking.

Doctors say sitting at your desk for hours on end can raise your risk for diabetes and heart disease. This could also cause an early death.

They say not only is sitting lousy for calorie burning, it has also been shown to suppress the production of an enzyme which is essential for turning bad cholesterol into good.

So when you're at work, try to step outside and take  a "walk" break.
