Update: A suspect is now in custody after the Chartway Federal Credit Union was robbed in Virginia Beach on Wednesday. Charges are pending.
Virginia Beach, Va. – Police officers responded to the scene of a robbery at the Chartway Federal Credit Union located at 3841 Holland Road.
It happened on Wednesday morning, May 29. The suspect entered the credit union, and demanded money. No injuries have been reported.
A witness tells police a weapon was implied; another witness reports seeing the weapon.
Police now have a suspect in custody and they say they are not looking for anyone else.Charges are now pending.
