Hampton, Va. - The 14th Annual Blackbeard Pirate Festival takes place this weekend in Hampton.
Last year, a tornado blew through the area, causing lots of damage. However, the weather is expected to be much improved this year.
According to the festival's website, activities include a number of reenactments from street skirmishes between pirates and militia, to full-scale sea battles in the Hampton Harbor.
Plus, there will be plenty of cameos from Blackbeard himself.
The event kicks off on Friday night.
