If you’ve ever been impressed by the molten glass works produced at the Chrysler Museum’s Glass Studio (or just want to learn something interesting) you’ll want to check out this video about Prince Rupert’s Drops, which are formed when molten glass is dropped into water. Once it cools the head of the drop is almost impossible to smash, but nicking the tail will cause the entire drop to explode.
