Man wanted for robbing Long John Silver’s in Hampton

Hampton, Va. – Hampton police need help identifying a suspect who is wanted for robbing a restaurant.

Investigators say at 10:25 p.m. on May 31, 2013, a suspect entered the Long John Silver’s restaurant, located in the 900 block of Big Bethel Road, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran away from the restaurant.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, and about 6’2 – 6’3. They say he was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and a dark colored hat. The suspect attempted to conceal his identity by covering it with an article of clothing.
