There’s a new species of giant slug and this one stands out from the others with its hot pink color.
These rarely seen pink slugs only come out at night and can grow up to 8 inches long.
The slugs only live on one small mountain top on Mount Kabutar in Australia.
And the hot pink isn’t for show; it’s for protection. The fluorescent color actually helps camouflage it in the fallen red eucalyptus leaves lining the forest floor.
