Virginia Beach, Va. – A Virginia Beach woman’s infidelity led to her murder. That’s according to a newly-released court document.

A search warrant affidavit says Kendal Romer, a sailor, used a computer program to spy on his wife’s email, text messages and phone calls. The files say Mattiele Romer knew her husband had caught her.

Not long after she confided that to a friend, she was dead.

The document shows Kendal Romer told a co-worker he caught his wife cheating, and that his wife was “gone.” According to the court records, Romer then tried to stash a gun in his co-worker’s house.

Kendal Romer has been charged with her murder and is being held without bail.
