Virginia Beach, Va. – A man was rescued thanks to the quick actions of Beach crews after he was trapped under a riding tractor Tuesday evening on Woodstock Road.
When Master Police Officers Jay Gates and Joseph O’Neil along with Fire District Chief David Hutcheson arrived, the man was in cardiac arrest and they were unable to get to him initially to perform CPR.
Gates used a 4 x 4 and put it under the mower deck to lift the tractor off of the man and they were able to push it up enough to pull him out.
The man then started to breath again.
