Suffolk Police looking for two suspects in Wednesday armed robbery

Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Police are asking for the public’s help finding suspects responsible for a Wednesday morning armed robbery.

Police say they were dispatched to the 300 block of N. 5th Street after receiving reports of a suspicious person.

They located a victim, running down the street with his hands bound.

The victim told police that while sleeping in his garage apartment, he was awakened by two unknown armed black males who forced him to the floor and demanded money.

The suspects then allegedly bound the victim’s wrists with electrical wires after taking the victim’s wallet, cell phone and various electronic devices and video games. They fled the scene in a vehicle.

The victim then left his residence and ran down N. 5th street where he was located by police.

The suspects are described as black males, one approximately 6’1’’, 200 pounds and wearing a gray mask and dark Levi jeans with another pair of pants underneath, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The other was described as approximately 5’10’’, 150 pounds, with braided hair, light jeans and pants underneath, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a black mask.
