A midtown Manhattan sushi restaurant is banning tips to improve dining experiences.
Sushi Yasuda has banned gratuities and raised menu prices, a common practice in European and Australian restaurants.
The owner also raised wages for employees, saying employees don’t need tips because they’re already paid well.
