Norfolk, Va. - The family of a man killed by Norfolk police showed up at Tuesday night's city council meeting to protest.
Family and friends of Joshua Johnson say police acted too quickly when they pulled the trigger last month.
Investigators say the 22-year-old along with a 21-year-old woman were trying to cash a stolen check at the Wells Fargo on Colonial Ave. and 21st Street.
Police say when officers approached Johnson's car, he put it in reverse and hit one of them.
Johnson's family wants officials to release the surveillance video of the Wells Fargo incident and they want a full investigation into the officer who shot Johnson.
