Did you know that only 5% of people wash their hands long enough to kill disease-causing germs?
That’s what researchers at Michigan State University are saying.
They looked at nearly 4,000 people in public restrooms and found a third of people don't use soap and on average most people only washed their hands for about six seconds.
The CDC says you should always use soap and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
