Suffolk lottery winner arrested on drug charges

A 47-year-old Suffolk woman was arrested May 31 and charged with various drug offenses.

Sharon Kay Revell won $100,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Jewel 7’s scratcher game in February from a ticket purchased at a Portsmouth 7-Eleven.

She has been charged with two counts of distributing schedule I or II drugs, one count of possession with the intent to distribute, and one charge of distribution or sale of drugs on or near school property.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible
