Norfolk, Va. – Tonight, you’ll have a chance to offer your three cents on extending Norfolk’s Light Rail into Virginia Beach.
Last week, city leaders in the resort city voted to let the city manager continue exploring a public-private partnership to do just that.
The extension could take light rail past Newtown to Rosemont Roads.
The city will now analyze the proposal and others before it makes any decisions.
Tonight’s public workshop to discuss possible plans starts at 6 p.m.
It’s being held in Norfolk at Granby High School.
