Horse shot in Chesterfield Co., Va.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTKR) — Investigators are trying to figure out who shot a horse in Chesterfield County.

That’s according to a report from WTVR in Richmond, Va.

Police were called out to the 11900 block of Winterpock Road around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday after they received a call that the animal had been found shot dead. The horse was last seen alive at about 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the report.
