After storms moved through Hampton roads on Tuesday, some residents saw downed trees and caved-in roofs. This even caused car crashes that sent one woman to the hospital.
One woman was rushed to the hospital after part of a tree trunk slammed into her car.
State police say they were called to the scene on Route 17 at Main Street in Gloucester County in front of the courthouse.
A tree fell across the roadway and landed on a vehicle. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Crews were able to clear the road by 5:38 p.m.
