Three teenagers were caught by Virginia Beach Police breaking into cars early Tuesday morning.
Police say a citizen called saying he saw three young men pulling on vehicle handles in the 5500 block of Furrow Reach.
Officers arrived and apprehended the three 16-year-olds.
They found stolen items such as a wallet and credit cards.
The three boys were charged with larceny, credit card theft, and conspiracy and released to their parents.
