Suffolk, Va. – Officials say nearly 30 gallons of diesel fuel spilled onto S. Quay Rd. in Suffolk after a tractor trailer hit something in the road causing the fuel tank to rupture.
Crews were on the scene at 3:52 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police were told the tractor trailer was going eastbound when the accident happened.
They closed off part of the road and were able to contain the spill at 4:29 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
