Three men wanted for burglary, shooting in South Norfolk

Chesapeake, Va. – Three men are wanted for breaking into a South Norfolk home and shooting a man, police tell NewsChannel 3.

It happened early Friday morning, July 12. Police say three people forced entry into a home in the 1000 block of Collingwood Avenue. That’s located in the South Norfolk section of the city.

A man, woman, and child were in the home at the time. The suspects demanded items and then shot the man when the demands were not met.

The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The other victims were not harmed, police say.

The suspects are described as three black men, ages 25-35 years old wearing masks and dark clothing.
