Suffolk, VA – Fire and rescue crews are working to contain a fire caused by several transformers in the north end of the city around 5:00pm Saturday evening.
Bennett’s Pasture Road to Lee Farm Lane are without power.
Dominion power believes that the fire was caused by a tree limb falling on a single transformer and spread causing 5 transformers in total to catch on fire.
There were no injuries and Dominion Power is working to restore the power to the affected areas.
