Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Natural Gas says a private contractor is to blame for a gas leak on Cheyenne Road in Virginia Beach.
Crews spent much of the morning at the scene. They closed the road as they worked to repair the rupture.
Two homes were evacuated, but everyone is back home tonight.
No one was injured.
At this hour, the leak is secured and the road has reopened.
