Today is the 88th annual Chincoteague Pony Swim.

The “Saltwater Cowboys” will swim nearly 150 ponies from Assateague Island to Chincoteague Island.
The wild ponies are auctioned to raise money for the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company.
