Norfolk, Va. - An apartment fire is under investigation right now in Norfolk.

The fire broke out at an apartment complex on Ashlawn Drive just before midnight.

When crews arrived, they saw smoke coming from a second story unit.

It took them about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

Fire officials say ten people were forced out of the complex and four units are unliveable right now.

It's believed the fire possibly started in the bedroom.

No word yet on what caused it.

The Red Cross is helping the residents who don't have a place to stay right now.
