(CNN) — The fashion world will rally behind Hillary Clinton once again this year.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and designer Michael Kors will present an award to the former secretary of state for outstanding community service.

Clinton will receive the recognition-which is named after Kors-at a ceremony in October that benefits God’s Love We Deliver, a nonprofit in New York that provides food and nutrition counseling to people with severe illness.

Kors, a former Project Runway judge, is a board member of the God’s Love We Deliver. His first women’s collection debuted in 1981, but he has since launched multiple product lines that cover an array of clothing and accessory genres.

“I am deeply honored to present Mrs. Clinton with this award that means so much to me,” Kors said in a statement. “She is a dedicated and enormously effective humanitarian whose commitment to community service encompasses the whole planet.”

It’s no secret that Clinton has ties to the fashion community. The self-described “pantsuit aficionado” attended a reception for designer Oscar de la Renta at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock last month. De la Renta is a friend who designed many of her gowns and suits throughout the years, as well as her outfits for a 1998 Vogue photoshoot-the first time a first lady ever appeared on the magazine’s cover page.

Wintour was at the same Little Rock event and hinted that she hopes Clinton runs for president in 2016. While she’s considered the potential Democratic favorite in the next presidential election, Clinton has not said whether she plans to launch another White House bid.

In June she honored de la Renta at the Council of Fashion Designers of America award ceremony in New York. Speaking to an audience of fashion industry giants, Clinton jokingly pitched her own reality television show idea: “Project Pantsuit.”

She said at the time she took great pleasure in representing New York-based designers and retailers during her tenure in the U.S. Senate and called New York’s fashion community “a great American industry.”
