Here are the bridges, tunnels, and roadways that will see major impacts this weekend due to construction:
James River Bridge: Rt 17 NB right lane closed Sunday 2am - 10am , multiple test lifts during that time. The Monitor Merrimac I-664 is your alternate.
Midtown Tunnel: 58 EB & WB, conducting tide gate testing inside of the tunnel, it will be closed Sunday 1am - 6am. The Downtown Tunnel is your alternate.
The Gilmerton Bridge: Military Hwy at the Gilmerton Bridge will be closed tonight from 8pm- 5am, resuming normal over night closures Sun - Thurs 8pm- 5am. The High Rise Bridge is your alternate.
Virginia Beach: North Landing Rd will be closed between West Neck and George Mason Dr on Sunday from 6:30am- 7:00pm. This is right before the Virginia Beach Courthouses, detour Nimmo Pkwy/West Neck Rd over to Princess Anne Rd. This is going to continue for the next three weekends to connect utilities to the Courthouse Green Subdivision.
