Virginia Beach, VA - Dozens of people took action and danced for a cause Saturday.

Wiggle it for William had its annual event in the resort city at the Philippine Cultural Center.

William Yancey is a miracle child.

He was born at 1 lb 14 ounces with Hydrocephalus, Retinopathy of Prematurity, Periventricular Leukomalacia, Visual Impairment, and Cerebral Palsy.

At the age of seven he has already undergone 17 surgeries and completes around 30 hours each week of therapy.

All the proceeds from the event will help the first grader continue his progress.

William will participate in his first Marathon this October.

He is being pushed along with other kids who have disabilities in the Marine Corp Marathon.

If you are feeling inspired to help other kids with disabilities participate in sporting events -- from now until October you can go to any Skinny Dip in Hampton Roads on Wednesdays from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and a portion of what you spend will be donated to Ainsley's Angels.
