Hampton, Va. – 24-year-old Caitlin C. Nelson has been charged with misdemeanor child neglect after police say two children were left unattended.
Police say she was the caregiver of the kids who were 3 and 4-years-old.
They say the children were in the front yard and were found a short distance away on Discovery Road unattended.
Child Protective Services was called and the children will remain with their parents.
