Virginia Beach, Va. – A worker was rescued from a 30-foot hole at an intersection in Virginia Beach on Wednesday.
This happened at around 10:45 a.m. near the intersection of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Cypress Avenue.
Beach crews had to lower a ladder 25-30 feet into the construction hole, and then they had to walk over to another ladder and ascend 10-15 feet onto a walkway to rescue the man.
Crews used a job site crane to lift the worker out of the hole.
He was then taken to the hospital.
