September 11, 2001. It is so hard to believe how much time has gone by since the horrible terrorist attack on American soil. Here in Hampton Roads, and for our community, we don’t need daily reminders of that day. Our lives have been dedicated to it as we send our loved ones off to war so that a tragedy like that never happens again.
There is another community that feels that sting everyday as well and that is our first responders. They protect our way of life here at home.
In a couple weeks, you will be able to honor both communities with the Travis Manion 9/11 Heroes Run.
