The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man from Elizabeth City.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for 66-year-old Donald Vance Byers, who is 
believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Byers is a white male, approximately 6’0’’ tall and 200 pounds with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a white short-sleeve collared shirt with white tennis shoes.
