In a twist of irony, the New York Jets cut Mike Shanahan from their roster Sunday. Shanahan was a tight end out of Pittsburgh.
The news was not so good for two former Old Dominion players, Chris Burnette and Eddie McClam. Burnette was cut by the Miami Dolphins this morning and McClam by the Philadelphia Eagles this afternoon.
