The Washington Redskins finalized their 53 man roster on Saturday and in a surprising move they decided to keep quarterback Pat White after trying to trade him.
Former U. Va. star Chase Minnifield and running back Keiland Williams were among the 22 players released.
In a twist of irony both Minnifield and Williams wore the number 25 in training camp.
The Redskins open the season at home against the Eagles on Monday September 9th.
