Newport News, Va. - Newport News police need your help to solve a homicide case from 2000.

They say in December of 2000, they found 20-year-old Kareem Bellamy, who had been fatally shot in the back on Jefferson Avenue after getting calls about shots fired in the area.

They say when he was trying to go to the store, three black men came up to him and robbed him. Police say the robbers took his money and then shot Bellamy.

The three robbery suspects were spotted leaving the area in a dark colored car headed north on Jefferson Avenue.
