Update: Keith Maurice Jones was arrested Monday night on 21st Street in Chesapeake police say. He is now in the Norfolk City Jail.

Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk police need your help to find a man who they say provided vehicles from an illegal vehicle rental to suspects who were involved in several burglaries around the city.

Police say the incidents happened in August and September. They say the vehicles involved in the burglaries were registered to March-E Fragrances.

In August, a vehicle registered to March-E Fragrances was stopped for a traffic infraction. Police say the driver of this vehicle led them to other vehicles involved.

Keith Maurice Jones of Portsmouth has been charged with obtaining documents from the DMV when not entitled, altering or forging certificate of title or registration card, and unlawfully transacting or offering to transact business as a corporation without authorization.

They say Jones bought the vehicles from the city using the fake business name “Quick Rentals, Inc.” The city rescinded their approval for Jones to bid on vehicles.

Police say they are still investigating this case.

If you’ve seen Jones, please call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Police say Jones could be armed.
