Man arrested for multiple Beach larcenies

A 44-year-old Virginia Beach has been arrested for his involvement in multiple larcenies that occurred in and around the Oceanfront area between June and August.

The suspect, Gregory Todd Glendening, is said to be responsible for at least seven larcenies and two commercial burglaries.

He was identified as a suspect after the release of a surveillance photograph.

The dates and addresses of the larcenies and burglaries are as follows:

7-22-13, 400 blk of Pinewood Drive

7-28-13, 1200 blk of Bluebird Drive

8-02-13, 500 blk of Pacific Avenue

8-07-13, 600 blk of 25th Street

8-07-13, 900 blk of Laskin Road

8-28-13, 600 blk of 25th Street

8-30-13, 500 blk of Norfolk Avenue

Glendening is charged with two counts of breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony, six counts of grand larceny, and larceny.

He is being held in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
