Cookie Monster is now starring in Hollywood movies… with a twist of course.
PBS has partnered with The National Film Society on Cookie Monster’s “Crumby Pictures,” a recurring feature on the new season of “Sesame Street” in which Cookie Monster stars in remakes of classic Hollywood films.
Clips were shared on YouTube over the weekend of Monday’s season premiere (featuring “The Biscotti Kid” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”), with a promise of more to come.
According to Muppet Wiki, the recurring segment will show Cookie Monster solving problems by employing “executive functioning skills … such as patience, focusing and memorization.”
